James Pankratz
James has been supporting and developing applications on IBM Midrange Systems for 25 years.
In 1981, James started working for Palliser Furniture Ltd as a System Operator on the IBM System/34.
Later, he became a Programmer/Analyst on the System/38, and eventually a Senior Analyst/Programmer
on the AS/400.
In 1994, James started working for DBM Systems, Inc., as a Senior Technical Specialist. DBM was the
MAPICS Affiliate for Southwestern Ontario and Western Canada. James developed many enhancements and new
applications for diverse manufacturing organizations, and learned to work well with managers and users
from a wide variety of corporate cultures and business markets.
In 1997, James started working for RR Enterprises, Ltd., which is an ERP software house
for Cable TV, Telephone, and Internet businesses. James developed several enhancements and modules and
was involved in installations and upgrades at various customer sites.
In 1999, James formed Pankratz Solutions Inc to provide contract application development services.
Throughout his career, James has increased his abilities to work with diverse customers, managers,
users, and technical staff to understand requirements, discuss and resolve issues, and develop applications
to solve complex business problems.
